While you are reading these lines, our new SBB signals - fresh from production - are in the photo box.
Before these photos I would like to show you something exciting.
I keep leafing through our company archives. Even from the 1950s, the first years after the company was founded, you can find the original pencil design drawings our first items for sale. The passion in this work is still noticeable today.
And then I came across the original drawings of the SBB signal signs from 1982 , which we still sell today. Because this design, which has been established for 40 years now, is simply a success. The implementation in filigree brass etching technology and the use of LEDs was something very special back then!
This much can be said: Our “retro” signals for SBB (and also the Rhaetian Railway!) will continue to be available in this version. Because we have noticed that they still have their fans today - and rightly so!
These signals simply have a very special charm. But we also have to admit: The LEDs visible from behind, the cable routing and other details compromise the fidelity to the original and the handling of the signals.
That is why we have our completely renewed variants developed. You can look forward to it.
